We provide one click, easy to use electronic document management software to support busy NHS organisations.

We have provided intuitive software solutions for over 6,000 healthcare providers to remove the paper to provide a streamlined electronic process.

docmangp-application-screen-smlWe are experts in providing healthcare electronic document management solutions and it has been our focus since 1993.

We first introduced scanning letters electronically for General Practices and then went on to develop the solution to include document workflow and optical character recognition software. This revolutionised document management within healthcare organisations. Since then we have continuously developed Docman and release updates to our 200,000 users every six months.

These updates have included a complete back office business management suit, one click workflow, an audited discussion platform and a means for organisations to share letters electronically between organisations.

In 2005 we developed the first version of Docman Hub to enable secondary care organisations to send letters to GP Practices electronically.

Docman Hub supports NHS Trusts meet the electronic discharge summary target to send these letters within 24 hours to GP Practices. The solution enables organisations to realise significant cost savings by removing the need to print and post letters.

We won a contract with NHS Scotland to provide Docman GP to every GP surgery in Scotland.

A few years later we won another national contract to provide every Health Board in Scotland with Docman Hub to transfer letters electronically into Docman GP in surgeries across Scotland.

In 2012 we launched Docman RMS with our first customer King’s College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The project was recognised in major awards including the HSJ and E-Health Insider Awards. Since the launch more and more organisations around using Docman across a secondary care health setting.

In 2014 we joined the GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) contract from HSCIC in England to provide Docman GP to practices.

In 2015 we announced our exciting Docman Cloud strategy to support sharing records, the new models of care and providing greater access to information.

2016 we launched Docman Vault to provide great access to documents.


2017 will see the launch of Docman 10.

Docman 10 is a cloud based software platform that manages the transfer of care within a healthcare organisation.

It is accessed entirely through a web browser, providing complete secure access to clinical documents and structured data from anywhere at any time through any device.
