PCTI has worked closely with EMIS for a number of years to provide an integrated solution for document management and workflow. There are almost 40% of EMIS GP practices using PCTI software.

Practices using Docman with EMIS Web will be able to receive the same functionality as with EMIS LV or PCS clinical systems. Indeed the seamless integration between Docman and EMIS Web includes improvements over and above the previous integration with LV and PCS.

Philip Young, Director, PCTI, “We are delighted to have received accreditation for EMIS Web to continue to provide comprehensive electronic document workflow to EMIS GP practices. We are extremely focused when it comes to document management and workflow, it’s all we do, so we are able to do it extremely well. With the help of our GP practices and User Forum we are able to be very close to our customers, ensuring we continue to improve our solutions that directly improve processes for healthcare professionals.”

“We are committed to working closely with EMIS to ensure that all customers using Docman continue to receive benefits from our market leading Docman solution that is so critical to the business processes within GP practices.”

The Docman and EMIS Web announcement coincides with PCTI’s announcement of their successful pilots for the new iWorkflow engine, an intuitive, intelligent clinical document workflow solution. iWorkflow is the very latest in next generation electronic document workflow that incorporates intelligent routing based on assigned actions, streamlining the creation and processing of workflows. iWorkflow provides practices with huge measurable efficiencies and frees up valuable time for healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
