The Transfer of Care initiative looks to address the safe and effective transfer of care for patients when they move between healthcare settings.

We are working closely with NHS Digital to fully ensure our Docman GP product and our structured messaging platform Docman Hub are compliant for the transfer of structured messages between Primary and Secondary care organisations. Our solutions already comply with the current standards for sending structured messages and the standards for the Clinical Structure and Content of Patient Records.

Going forward, our Docman Hub will be sending fully structured CDA messages to GPs and other healthcare settings as the production systems in the trusts are enabled to do so. Our Docman GP product will also be able to receive and ingest these CDA messages at our 5000+ practices.
