On 2nd and 3rd May at HC2012, the national event for health informatics, PCTI will be presenting their innovative electronic document management and transfer solutions that are already benefiting over 5,500 organisations and 55 NHS Trusts.

The definitive event for health informatics will inform clinicians and senior managers across health and social care towards achieving success.

PCTI will be exhibiting:

  • EDT Hub; a multi-directional document transfer platform provides a secure, reliable and flexible platform for the electronic communication of documentation between Secondary, Primary and Social Care providers.
  • Docman RMS solution, enabling NHS Trusts to electronically manage incoming referral letters. (link: https://www.pcti.co.uk/news/post/docman-moves-into-secondary-care.asp). King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has deployed Docman to electronically manage referral letters as part of their strategy to become paper-light.  The Referral Management System (RMS) will be used to reform the process by which referrals for outpatient services are logged, vetted and graded by clinicians and tracked through to appointment booking.
  • The latest modules to the Docman solution, used by 5,500 GP practices will also be showcased to delegates.

The solutions enable organisations to realised efficiency savings to improve quality and services as set out in the QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) efficiency guide.

HC has been the leading health informatics themed event for the UK and Europe for over 28 years. Organised and hosted by the BCS Health Executive of The Chartered Institute for IT, in partnership with the Guardian, the event combines the strengths of two previous events, Healthcare Computing and Smart Healthcare Live into one.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations, ask questions and learn more about PCTI’s innovative projects. For more information, please call us on 01977 664496 or email docman@pcti.co.uk
