We have visited many of our customers over the past few years and many clinicians to get a true understanding of how Docman can meet the challenges and demands of a 21st Century health economy.

Docman 10 provides a platform to support clinicians who often have other roles within and outside the NHS, who are supporting 7 day access, federated working and new models of care.

It is accessed entirely through a web browser, providing complete secure access to clinical documents and structured data from anywhere at any time through any device.

In this blog we are highlighting four enhancements the Docman 10 platform provides:

Greater Access

Docman 10 is a browser based platform where all patient documents and data is stored securely in the cloud. This means for clinicians, Docman 10 can be accessed from anywhere with an N3 connection. Clinicians can work from home or even have access to documents whilst out on visits.

Take a picture from a device and workflow it on

A clinician can take an image with their device, for example with a dermatology query, and instantly workflow it on to another clinician for a second opinion or to a clinician at another organisation, for example to a specialist.

Task scheduling

Within Docman 10 there is the functionality to schedule tasks for a colleague within or outside your organisation. For example whilst out on a visit, a clinician could set a task for a member of the administrative team to book a follow up appointment with a patient, with a set due date.

Document viewer

The new intuitive user interface provides enhancements to viewing documents and the patient timeline, so all past documents can be easily accessed for complete patient information when preparing for or during a consultation.
